🌱 Nature Club Spotlight: Gardening with Heart – A Day of Discovery and Dirt
This week, our Flyers Class at Daram-G International English Village celebrated Planting Day as part of our Nature Club Project Class! 🌼 Each child brought seeds or small plants from home and participated in outdoor gardening activities under the spring sunshine. With gardening gloves, hats, and big smiles, our little gardeners spent the day learning, planting, and connecting with nature.
🌿 Hands-On Learning
The children explored how to dig, plant, and water their flowers and vegetables. They discussed what plants need to grow and how to take care of them. It was an enjoyable and educational experience that helped nurture patience and responsibility.
🌻 Why It Matters
Planting Day wasn’t only about gardening it was about fostering care and connection. Through these activities, children became more curious, thoughtful, and mindful about the environment and living things around them.
🌾 Skill Building Through Nature
Gardening helps develop essential life skills:
Fine motor coordination through digging and planting
Problem-solving by selecting tools and planning garden layouts
Teamwork and cooperation in shared garden spaces
💬 What the Kids Said
> “I’m going to check on my plant every day!”
> “I didn’t know tomatoes start from tiny plants!”
> “I planted flowers with my friend!”
This joyful day showed how hands-on experiences can turn learning into lasting memories. 🌞 Let’s continue growing curiosity and kindness one seed at a time!
