We are excited to launch our hands-on Eco-Friendly Gardening project an engaging nature-based learning activity that teaches children the value of sustainability, recycling, and caring for our planet through fun gardening experiences.

Students will use recycled materials such as cans, bottles, and containers to create their own mini gardens. Through planting, decorating, and caring for their creations, children will discover the beauty of nature while learning how small green actions can make a big difference.

We kindly ask for your help in collecting and preparing the necessary materials listed for your child’s group.

Group Assignments & What to Bring

Starters – Eggshell Countertop Garden

3–4 clean, dry eggshell halves

Small sturdy container (e.g., egg carton)

Soil & seeds

Movers – Grass-Head Plant Friends

1 pair of old nylon stockings (light color preferred)

Small plastic/paper cup

Optional: googly eyes, buttons, beads, craft items

Soil & seeds

Flyers – Recycled Garden

1–2 clean cans or plastic bottles (1 liter or smaller)

Optional: stickers, markers, ribbons for decoration

1. 10:00–10:30 – Event Introduction & Briefing

2. 10:30–11:50 – Group Activities

3. 12:00–13:00 – Lunch Break

4. 13:10–14:00 – Coloring & Decorating

5. 14:20–15:20 – Activity Worksheet & Reflection

Through this event, our goal is to help children experience the joy of growing something themselves while fostering eco-friendly habits they can carry for life.
