Celebrating Earth Day 2025 – “The 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”
This April, our young eco-leaders at Daram-G International English Village came together to celebrate Earth Day through our first Environment Club Project! 💚
On April 23, the school garden transformed into an interactive green zone where students learned how small daily actions can make a big difference for our planet. The project focused on the 3Rs Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle helping students understand how to protect the Earth through hands-on learning and teamwork.
🌱 Lesson Highlights
Warm-Up Discussion: What happens to trash after we throw it away?
Students explored videos and pictures showing the difference between polluted and clean environments.
Learning Time: Introduction to each “R” with fun examples and simple vocabulary.
Outdoor Activity: A trash clean-up and sorting challenge at Daram-G Garden. Students collected litter, then sorted it into recycling bins for plastics, cans, paper, and glass.
Wrap-Up: Reflection worksheets where students drew and wrote about what they learned during the activity.
