At Yibabru we are delighted to open the doors to our unique library, designed with the vision of providing a welcoming space for kids to relax, unwind, and embark on a journey of knowledge. Named with a touch of whimsy and a lot of heart, Yibabru is more than just a library—it's a sanctuary for young minds to take a break and explore the wonders of literature.
The Yibabru Library stands as a beacon of learning and linguistic development, catering to the diverse needs of young learners on their journey to mastering the English language. Our carefully curated collection is organized into four distinct levels: nursery, beginner, intermediate, and advanced, each equipped with a range of books that are meticulously selected to match the proficiency and age group of our readers, supported by Lexile measures to guide selection.
For our youngest readers, the nursery section offers a colorful array of picture books and simple stories, with Lexile measures up to 400L. These books introduce the joys of reading through vivid illustrations and engaging narratives, perfect for capturing the imaginations of early learners.
As children progress to the beginner level, they are greeted with a selection of books designed to build foundational vocabulary and comprehension skills. These books, ranging from 400L to 600L, feature captivating stories that spark curiosity and encourage the exploration of language in a structured yet enjoyable manner.
Advancing to the intermediate section, young minds are challenged with more complex texts, with Lexile levels between 600L and 800L. These books are tailored to enhance grammatical knowledge and enrich vocabulary, broadening understanding and encouraging critical thinking, preparing students for the nuanced demands of advanced English.
At the pinnacle of our collection, the advanced level books provide a platform for students to refine their reading skills to near-native proficiency, with Lexile measures from 800L to 1000L and above. This selection includes a wide range of genres, from classic literature to contemporary works, fostering an appreciation for the depth and breadth of the English language through complex narratives and sophisticated vocabulary.
