Different Friends, A Brighter Tomorrow! 🌏

Dear Parents and Families,

At Daram-G International English Village, we believe that learning English becomes truly meaningful when children have opportunities to use it to connect with the world. We are excited to introduce our upcoming Online Peer Interaction Project, a special international exchange program that will bring Australian children virtually into our Daram-G classrooms!

Through live, interactive conversations, our students will have the opportunity to meet Australian peers, exchange ideas, discover cultural differences, and develop genuine friendships all while communicating naturally in English.

🌟 From Learning English to Actually Using English! Unlike traditional classroom speaking activities, this project is designed to create authentic communication experiences rather than another academic lesson or examination. Students will interact with Australian children in real time, encouraging them to listen carefully, respond spontaneously, ask questions, and express their own thoughts with growing confidence.

💬 Real Conversations: Practice English naturally with Australian peers through live video interactions.

🎧 Natural Listening: Experience authentic English pronunciation, speaking patterns, and spontaneous responses.

🤝 Cultural Exchange: Discover similarities and differences between everyday life in Korea and Australia.

🌟 Confidence Building: Become more comfortable speaking English with new friends.

🌍 Global Friendships: Develop curiosity, cultural awareness, and meaningful connections beyond the classroom.

📚 What Will Students Talk About?

Our interactive sessions will explore four engaging themes:

🏠 Daily Life & Personal World: Family, friends, favorite toys, school life, food, and hobbies.

🌿 Animals & Nature: Australian wildlife, pets, ocean animals, and the natural world.

✨ Fantasy, Fun & Imagination: Superheroes, magical castles, birthday celebrations, and imaginative adventures.

🚀 Exploring the World: Transportation, space, sports, exciting places, and future dreams.

🎤 How Will the Sessions Work?

Each session will take place in a familiar classroom environment with teacher guidance and an Australian moderator.

Hello & Warm-Up: Friendly greetings and introductions.

Show & Share: Students introduce objects, pictures, or experiences related to the topic.

Guided Peer Talk: Children exchange questions, answers, and ideas with their Australian friends.

Wrap-Up: Share favorite moments and say goodbye until the next meeting.

The focus is not on speaking perfect English but on having the confidence to communicate, listen, understand, and respond naturally.

The project is currently being prepared, with sessions planned to begin in November 2026. Further details will be shared with parents as arrangements are finalized. Together, let's help our children discover that even the smallest conversations can build bridges across the world!
